Characters

The side characters of X-Berg are based on stereotypes: Rude Berliners, Slow whining east Germans, the Hopeless jobless, the cocksure American tourists, the dishonest government officials, the alternative vegan and the schizophrenic nazis are examples of the types of characters forming the stories of X-Berg.

The main characters are…

Schorsch Kreutzer Is 34, a permanently niggling good-for-nothing with an addictive interest in alcohol. X-Berg’s central figure is of a wealthy Hamburgian background. Sadly his snooty family disowned him due to his working-class behavior packing him off to Berlin to be out of their hair. His way of dealing with the world became righteous and angry, which catapults him into situations oscillating between bizarre and just downright embarrassing. He reacts to most things with a combination of ignorance and aggression. Although a notorious loner Schorsch is secretly on the search for love and acceptance.

Erhat Tokka Is 26 and a Turk. He owns the corner shop and is Schorsch’ beer supplier. Therefore a friend for Schorsch to vent his frustrations. Although Erhat loves to rant about people who try to get one over on him, he is actually a softy who wants nothing more than to own a Mercedes and fulfill his mother’s expectations.

Mrs Tokka
Is Erhats mother and commands unrestricted authority over the family. She mainly uses her powers to make a real Muslim man out of her son. Three tasks a man has to fulfill: He has to make money, he has to marry and he has to kill at least one mutton. Everything else is irrelevant.
Mrs Tokka thinks Germans are weak and shows off her superiority at each visit to the Job center. Despite her facade of traditionalism she is a feminist who does what she wants and no man will get in her way.

Tatjana Kurnikova
Is a Russian hottie and could be straight out of a Rocco Porn. She works as a ‘glossy’ magazine journalist in the hope of landing a rich hubby. Everyone kisses her feet from film stars to heads of state. Even dogs get aroused when she makes an appearance. Jealous women regard her as a danger against all feminist achievements. But will her dark past will get in her way?

Kevin Prahlert
Is 26 and from deepest darkest East Germany. Confused about his sexuality he diverts all his attention to what’s now. Fashion, music and art. Any trend he follows is just his way of denying that he is actually gay.
Kevin is a permanently nervous party and drugs freak, who through dealing drugs manages to survive.

.

Pjotr, the Polak
Is a local Hero. Being a locksmith he can enter any building and home. His life’s ambition is to clean up the cliché that poles can do nothing else but steal stuff. Pjotr can be found in the Sofia Bar around the clock. It’s his office. Mobile, toolbox, and newspaper.
